Special Project 1:
House of Love, Cam Ranh Orphanage

While visiting Vietnam in January 2005, Brittany’s Hope Executive Director discovered a tiny orphanage. In a rural poverty-stricken area there was a tiny shanty house with more than 40 orphans. They were being cared for by eight nuns who struggled to feed the orphans and ate sparingly to save their food for the children. With very little money to purchase food, clothing, medicine or other necessities, help was desperately needed.

The orphanage is in need of a steady supply of medicine and formula. Extraordinary gifts would fulfill the need for livestock, a new well for fresh, uncontaminated water and a flood barrier to protect their fragile crops.

Gift Sponsorships of just $25 per month are available to sponsor an individual child or $40 per month for older child for basic life necessities.

Extraordinary Gift sponsorships include larger investments to be used toward building new living quarters and other basic necessities such as livestock, seeds and tools for planting, and milk-bearing animals.

Special Project 2:
Nutrition Program

Every five seconds, a child dies from hunger-related causes. Before this day is over starvation and malnutrition will take the lives of more than 16,000 children.

Many children arrive at orphanages malnourished or starving. Babies and children are often sick from health problems caused by an inadequate diet and are at risk for illnesses that can easily claim their lives.

The Brittany’s Hope Foundation Nutrition Program provides orphanages with high-grade baby formula, diary products, cereal, protein, vitamins and medicines for the children. It is remarkable to see the changes in their beautiful faces after a short time of receiving a proper diet.

Make a difference this Holiday season! A donation of $25 will supply one month’s worth of protein-rich food to a malnourished child in orphanages all over the world.

Suggested gift: $25 to feed a child for a month, $300 to feed a child for a year.

Special Project 3:
Brittany's Cribs

Traveling to orphanages around the world, Brittany’s Hope Foundation has witnessed firsthand the numerous abandoned babies who wait in lonely cribs that are unsafe, broken and often without mattresses.

Orphanages have limited resources, so funds are spent on essentials like baby formula and medicine. They do not have the means to replace damaged cribs or purchase mattresses and blankets. Often, more than one infant or small child sleeps in these shabby makeshift beds. Even in the most compassionate orphanages, children spend the majority of their day in a crib.

Share Your Blessings! Donate a crib in a loved one’s honor! $150 will give a child a safe, comfortable crib with a mattress, warm blanket and a “busy box” for valuable mental stimulation.

Suggested gift: $150 per crib will provide a cozy night’s rest.
