Homes & Garden Tour of Stone Gables Estate

On August 24th and 25th, 2007, Brittany’s Hope held a Homes and Garden Tour of Stone Gables Estate fundraising event. While oppressive heat and humidity affected attendance on Saturday, Sunday's tours were a resounding success. Our current estimate is that nearly 1,000 people visited the estate. Visitors enjoyed tours of the homes, walking in the gardens, and lunch by the pool. Children and adults alike couldn't resist ice cream by Maggie Moo. Civil war re-enactors braved the heat to stage battles over a stone bridge on the property. The battles were exciting, complete with shouts and rebel yells, pacing horses, and booming cannons.

We wish to thank all of our supporters for making this event possible. All of the funds raised through donations, ticket, food and flower sales will be used to bring special needs children home to forever families.
