Brittany's Cribs

The Brittany's Cribs Campaign is a long-term fundraiser to provide cribs to children in orphanages around the world. A safe and stimulating crib is an essential provision for a baby, especially for an institutionalized infant who spends many hours of their day in a crib. Brittany's Hope Foundation has traveled into orphanages around the world, and seen firsthand the numerous abandoned special needs babies who wait in their lonely, barren cribs without the comforts of a blanket or a toy to occupy their time.

Orphanages have limited resources, so money is spent on essentials like formula and medicines first. They do not have the means to replace damaged and rusted beds or play equipment. Some orphanages provide the children with metal cribs; however they are forced to lay on the cold, hard metal slats because they cannot afford mattresses for these children. Often, older children sleep in bassinets or wicker baskets sized for infants.

For every $150 you raise, you can provide a child with a safe, comfortable crib including a mattress, warm blanket, and a "busy box" to provide much-needed mental stimulation.
