Sadly, a child dies every 5 seconds from hunger-related causes. Before this day is over, starvation and malnutrition will claim the lives of more than 16,000 children.

Many children arrive at orphanages very malnourished and even starving. Babies and children are often sick and have many health problems caused by a poor or inadequate diet. These compromised children are at risk for a range of illnesses that could claim their lives easily. In addition, these sweet children are growing up without the love of a family.

Brittany’s Hope believes that all children deserve a full belly and warm hugs. Our nutrition program provides orphanages with high-grade formula, dairy products, cereal, protein, vitamins and medicines for children; the caregivers offer the hugs. It is remarkable to see the change in their beautiful faces after just a few short months of love and a proper diet.
