2009 Britt's Super Kids

Where are they now?

Have you ever wondered what our granted children do after they come home to their forever families? We asked some of our Britt's Kids how they're doing and received some great letters! If you would like to keep up to date with our Super Kids, subscribe to our email list today!

My name is Jacob and I am 8 years old. I was adopted from Korea when I was 16 months old and have been blessed with loving parents. I now live in Tennessee, we moved from Pennsylvania 2 years ago. My Dad wanted to move here to make his job easier being a Fed Ex pilot and he could spend more time with me. I have an 18 year old sister. She helps my mom watch me sometime. She will go to college soon.

My favorite things to do are plan baseball and soccer and I am both teams. I also am on the swim team but it's not my favorite. My Dad and I just love to fish and try and fish almost every weekend.

From Rauan's mom: Rauan is doing awesome! He starts first grade next fall. He is in hockey--and an awesome skater to my novice eyes. So strong. He starts t-ball next week and just loves baseball. Now he is 6, the training wheels are coming off his bike -- heaven help us! Rauan loves Scooby Doo and Sponge Bob. Last night he read a level 3 book to me--perfectly. It was all about dinosaurs--something he loves.

We recently adopted a third child, a brother for Rauan and his sister. He was all fine and dandy with his sister, but a brother who had to share his room? Not so much. Now that they've adjusted, I'm so proud of him. Rauan has become the ideal big brother and Alihan just adores him. He works on Alihan with his letters and writing, plays dinosaurs and cars with him -- and when Alihan is scared, Rauan comforts him. I've gone into their room a couple of times and found Alihan curled up next to Rauan.

Rauan's an awesome kid. He's gentle, polite, loving and helpful to everyone. Adored by his teachers, friends -- and mostly by his family.

Greetings from Minnesota, the new home for Maverick. We cannot say thank you enough for all of your hard work to bring him to us. Thank you to all of the people who took part of this journey with our family, especially Brittany’s Hope without whose grant the adoption would not have been possible.

We could not have asked for a better match than Maverick. He is now a healthy three year old toddler. He is in dance classes and preschool, and has learned English so quickly. He has been on a cruise to Mexico/California and a trip to meet Mickey Mouse in Florida that was given to him as a gift from a family member. We are so blessed by his smiling face and his terrific personality. He has taught us the meaning of giving....I would give the world to any of my children and Maverick has showed that giving is 100% worth it. He is a bundle of joy who enjoys animals, traveling, family, etc.

Once again thank you so much. God has blessed us unbelievably. Keep up all the hard work bringing these children home. Who knows what our future will bring, maybe more children in our family, but right now little Mav is the apple of our eyes.
