Aaron

This is a 7 year old boy with a face that lights up when he smiles. He is described as active, friendly, welcoming, and loves playing with others. He is meeting motor and social milestones for his age, but lags in his language development. He is undergoing speech therapy and has made “a tremendous change and speaks more clearly”. He is a fast learner, and attends an early learning and occupational therapy center. In August 2008 he weighed about 37 pounds and was 106 centimeters tall. In the past he was admitted to the hospital for bronchopneumonia and measles. He waits for a family who has parented past his age and who can provide him with the speech services he needs.

This beautiful little boy has been in care since May 2009 after his grandparents were no longer able to care for him following the disappearance of his birth mother. He is reportedly healthy and active. He has a scar on his arm from a previous burn. His caregivers report that he has a good relationship with his peers and is a very sociable little boy. A family that has parented past his age is preferable.

This sweet little 2 year old boy came into care in April 2009. His birth father passed away and his birth mother was no longer able to care for him. He reportedly does have some developmental delays and tested positive for Hepatitis C. His caregivers report that he is unable to speak but is able to follow commands. He also has difficulty using his right arm. He is being followed up by both a pediatrician and a neurologist. He is in need of a family who is able to provide him with the medical care and therapies that he may need.
