This sweet boy was found wandering the streets on the afternoon of September 22, 2002. On admission he had a high fever, was malnourished, and his ear was swollen and had a discharge. This school year, he was attending 3rd grade and doing well according to his teachers. However, he was moved to a local learning center because of frequent absences (he would skip class to play with friends.) He is said to be in good health aside from the occasional fever, and small compared to other children of his age. He is described as expressive in his thoughts and feelings, respectful in his home, and loves to share stories with people. It's noted that he has good relationships with other children and the staff. He is said to have "advanced mental development." In November 2007, his mental age was equal to a child 9 years and 4 months. This adorable little guy is waiting for his forever family who has experience with older child adoption, is open to some unknowns, and has access to the resources he needs.
