Service Learning Trip 2024
Twenty Elizabethtown College students, along with Brittany’s Hope advocates and staff are embarking on a trip to Viet Nam to make transformational change in the lives of orphaned and at-risk children across Viet Nam. During this two-week trip, they will be providing direct therapy to children, training caregivers, delivering bicycles, building a home, delivering food, and giving children who have never been on a field trip the opportunity to play, laugh, see parts of their own country they have never seen before. The students will also be integral in the new community clinic which will provide access to medical care and therapy for nearly 8,000 community members.
We are asking YOU to be a part of their journey. Your donation will ensure that children will have bicycles to travel to school, parents have access to basic medical care before minor issues escalate, and that a single Dad who is homeless, can now care for children in their own newly built home. With every dollar received, a child’s story will be changed forever and a community will be transformed. Please make your gift today and TOGETHER we will plant the seed of HOPE in Viet Nam!
In Search of Used Laptops and Tablets! Our budding college students in Viet Nam need laptops to successfully pursue their educations. If you/your business has one or more laptops that you would be willing to wipe clear of data and donate to Brittany’s Hope, we will deliver them to the students in mid-May during our Service Learning trip to Viet Nam with students from Etown College. Viet Nam students are pursuing careers including orthopedics, finance, business, general medicine, travel and tourism, actuarial science, and accounting. Meanwhile, the tablets will be used to allow children with verbal and developmental delays the ability to communicate with their peers. Your donation will help students break the cycle of poverty and realize their dreams.
