Injibara Generator Repairs

In Ethiopia, one of the poorest countries in the world, many fight to survive on less than a dollar a day. Deep poverty and lack of opportunity have made progress hard in this region. Despite some gains with regard to health, education, and resources in the last few years, too many continue to struggle.
In Injibara, Ethiopia, many still live without electricity. Often considered a necessity to many here in the US, prohibitive costs and lack of infrastructure make it difficult for most to achieve this standard of living. At Injibara Children’s Home, where they care for 26 children ranging from infants to teens, light can make a world of difference.
Without formal electricity in place, they have relied on generators for the past ten years. Every night, they fire up their generator for a few hours so the kids can do their homework, take baths, and play before bed. Unfortunately, their generator recently broke and needed to be repaired. Without their trusty generator, the children have to read by candlelight and are prone to accidents walking around in the dark. They need their light restored!
Please consider shining a light on these children by donating to get their generator repaired!
