Viet Nam Service Trip

Jonah Beach, Julia Atkins, and Trey Janssen all began their lives in Ben Tre Vietnam.  In January of 2008, we were blessed to bring our kids home.  On our initial adoption trip, we fell in love with the country – the culture, the people, and of course the food.  We have all strived to integrate Vietnamese culture into the kids’ lives in varying ways.  One of these ways has been to travel back to Vietnam every 5 years.  Our earlier trips were mainly as tourists where we were able to see a lot of the country and meet some amazing people.  Each time we have been able to visit the Care Center where our kids spent their earliest years.

As we head back this summer, we are excited to have an opportunity to give back to the Care Center and the Ben Tre community.  We are partnering with a wonderful organization called Brittany’s Hope this time and we will be participating in multiple humanitarian aid projects. With every dollar received, a child’s story will be changed forever, and a community transformed.  Please make your gift today and TOGETHER we will plant the seed of HOPE in Vietnam!”

High risk families, particularly single mothers, often have to make the difficult decision to place their children in orphanages due to the lack of stable housing. Help a family stay together by building them a new home. Our team will help finish the construction to make one house a home for a family in need. For less than $7,000, together we can build a home which not only provides safety for a family, but also security and an asset for generations to come.
  • Amount: $50.00
Give a child a once-in-a-lifetime experience, outside the confines of their care center. The team plans to take over 90 children on a day trip to a water park, followed up with a celebratory party.
  • Amount: $130.00
A 9-mile walk to and from school drains kids of their energy. Help them get to school faster, ready to tackle the day by providing them with the means of transportation to get there quickly. Help us reach our goal of providing 40 bicycles for 40 low income students. These bicycles will be delivered by Brittany's Hope staff.
  • Amount: $150.00
Many rural communities lack access to medical care. Help us equip a community-based clinic with necessary medical supplies and adaptive equipment to improve the health and well-being of at-risk children and their community.
  • Amount: $150.00
Provide vital food relief to over 1,000 community members grappling with food insecurity. Support for this initiative holds the power to make a significant impact, ensuring that no individual within our community faces the challenge of going to bed hungry.
